Opportunities to SHARE in ministry at Shepherd of the Hills.

As Christians, God has given us many gifts.  First, is the gift of faith that we hold and share with others.  God has also given us the gifts of special abilities.  These spiritual gifts work toward building and keeping His Church and its people strong.

Here at Shepherd of the Hills, you have an opportunity to share your spiritual gifts in the worship experience and participate in a ministry of hospitality to members and guests.

The purpose of hospitality ministry is to provide a warm and open atmosphere to all individuals, families, and groups attending Shepherd of the Hills and to bring honor and glory to God.

Every person who comes to church has a reason for being there.  Motivations for attending may vary, but a common need is that of acceptance.  Some of the most important qualities that a church can provide are warmth, friendliness, caring and concern.  As a hospitality volunteer, you can make a difference in helping to provide an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance.

How do I get started as a volunteer?
If you are interested in serving in any of the follwing areas, either on a regular basis or occasionally (holidays or special events), please complete a Worship Ministry form (on the Information Counter in the Narthex) or call or email the church office officeasst@shepherdshoreview.org.  Those who schedule the different hospitality ministries will be informed of your interest and contact you.  Thank-you for considering volunteering!
